પાસેપાસે તો યે કેટલાં જોજન દૂરનો આપણો વાસ;
જેમકે ગગન સાવ અડોઅડ તો ય છેટાં નો ભાસ.
રાત દિ’નો સથવાર ને સામે,
મળવાનું તો કોઈ દા’ડો સુખ મળતું નથી;
આવકારાનું વન અડાબીડ,
બારણું ખોલી ફળિયામાં સળવળતું નથી;
આંસુંને દઈ દીધો છે ભવનો કારાવાસ.
ઝાડથી ખરે પાંદડું,
એમાં કેટલાં આથમ્યાનું સંભારણું હશે;
આપણી વચ્ચે આવજોની કોઈ ભીંત હશે,
કે યાદ જેવું કોઈ બારણું હશે;
પડખે સૂતાં હોય ને લાગે શમણાનો સહવાસ.

Waah Tarz Kamaal…Bhupinder & Mitali are very good (though to be honest, I found Rasbiharibhai and Vibhaben to be a bit better) … but all singers have sung this soulful rendition wonderfully well.
